Stanmore
Alteration & Addition
Architect: Design Confidential
Year Completed: 2007
Project overview: The client required a complete internal and external rebuild of their home. This project presented some really difficult obstacles. The property sat on an extremely narrow block (only 6m in width), there was no access for machinery, hence removing more than 60m3 of soil from the land via a 1 metre opening posed a real challenge.
Further to this, the adjoining properties required underpinning as the design called for boundary construction. The external construction of this projects consisted of brickwork, render, corrugated iron wall and roof sheeting.
The finished product was immensely rewarding for the team and clients alike and gave us all a sense of great achievement. The client was so thrilled with the finished product they have entered their new home into the local People’s Choice Awards for home.
Kind Regards
